Forever Fit Nutrition Seminars

We learned so much from our Jazzercise Registered Dietician Stacey Wainscott!  Here’s just a little info that we found interesting…

If you crave….       Try eating less…                  Try eating more…..                 

Sugar                 Meat/salt/dairy           grains/squash/fresh/frozen fruit, honey

Coffee                Meat/Sugar/Salt/Flour   Vegetables/salad, Decaf tea, water, seltzer

Salt                    Sweets, fats, alcohol     black beans/veggies/Natural soy sauce, herbs                                  

Dairy products  Sugar, baked goods, meat    Leafy greens, fish, beans,tofu, soy milk

Fats/Sweets        Refined flour/processed grains      eggs, fish, olive/canola oil                                                                                                                                                   

Our next Forever Fit Seminar will be on Sunday, April 26th at 4pm at Zionsville Presbyterian Church.  Our topic will be Dining Out-the Smart Weigh.  This seminar is $20 for walk in and will be preceded by a free Jazzercise class 3pm with Julie Pettinger!

The final two nutrition seminars will be on Sunday, May 3rd (preceded by a 3pm Jazzercise class with Julie)

4PM-Seminar is “Drinking your Calories”

5PM-Seminar is “Carbs 101-Not all Carbs are created Equal”
